The regions motives for the project are: The participating regions want to create a specific European profile with the strengths on hand. In order for this to happen it must be established professionally and actively communicated (not only advertised as tourism). The commitment to the leadership role (topical leadership) is a prerequisite for the awaited recognition. In this role, it is a duty to actively transfer accumulated know-how and with that, stimulate demand and further development. Experience shows that recognition from outside creates simultaneous motivation on the inside, assuming that the recognition comes from professional circles. In the area of tourism, it is an exhibition of established and current achievements in the host region. This makes the encounter for the guests more valuable. This part is also important for wide recognition and is justifiable if the contents are professionally and authentically founded. |
